Job description

We are seeking a Communications Manager who will help to develop and implement effective integrated communications programmes across our rapidly growing organisation which operates in a fast-paced and dynamic industry. 

Based in Paris, the successful candidate will work with fellow team members and departments across the business to ensure that Mangopay’s story, vision and values are understood and recognised by multiple stakeholder audiences. As part of that, engaging with the press, analysts, the public, customers, partners, and employees across a variety of communications channels and formats will be central to this role.

What will you be responsible for?

  • Formulating, building and executing external communications campaigns in the key markets and verticals where we operate and reporting on their effectiveness. 
  • Educating press, bloggers, analysts, and influencers about Mangopay, our products and initiatives, through an integrated communications approach including thought leadership content, PR and social media. 
  • Managing PR agencies and suppliers.
  • Helping to manage Mangopay’s social media channels, curating and posting a variety of content and analysing its performance.
  • Developing press releases, bylines, award entries, press commentary, and keynotes in partnership with the business and the communications team.
  • Seeking out and handing a variety of communications opportunities, including press enquiries, media briefings, speaking engagements, and customer and partner PR activities.
  • Developing and executing internal communications programmes to support the evolving needs of the business.


What do we expect from you?

  • 5+ years of experience in Communications, preferably for a B2B Tech / SAAS player or agency, in a global or international context.
  • Proven record of successfully developing and executing creative campaigns that drive engagement, awareness and/or growth.
  • Experience of managing agencies and suppliers. Influencer management experience would be beneficial.
  • Analytical skills, with the ability to use data to inform strategy and measure performance.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft compelling content in a variety of formats and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Experience in content review and quality control and a strong focus on accuracy.
  • Proven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with a flexible and proactive approach.
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with social media management tools, such as Hootsuite, Sprout Social, or Buffer, and analytics platforms, such as Talkwalker or Google Analytics.
  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent.
  • Fluency in English is mandatory. Proficiency in a second European language is a plus.
