Biolytica is a Swiss longevity startup with the vision to give as many people as possible access to a longer and healthier life – by becoming the leading global health platform and leading provider of personalized health solutions. We are looking for the first Data Integration Engineer to join our company. Our platform will use (real-time) health data from different sources such as smart-watches, apps, biomarkers, our longevity programs, etc. to help our clients and clinicians, researchers, and healthcare systems gain insights about their health. You will be a vital member of our team and are in charge of building a robust data platform. 



  • Maintain an integration architecture that acquires personalized health data from a variety of sources
  • Support all aspects of data acquisition, transport, transform, and database updates (designing, coding, testing, debugging)
  • Ensure the integrity, reliability, and security of the data from acquisition to database updates.
  • Co-define technical interface standards and the underpinning technology stack as it relates to platform integrations for Biolytica
  • Incorporate internal and customer feedback into how our product should function and perform
  • You will work closely with other engineers and our Founders to deliver a product that’s technically first-class and loved by our customers
  • Effectively communicate technical challenges, options considered, and the recommended solutions
  • Participate in brainstorming, specification, and design sessions
  • Maintain documentation, samples & best practices up to the highest standards



  • have at least 3 years of experience in a similar position developing near real-time data interfaces using NiFi and Kafka
  • have 2 years in a healthcare environment, including experience with FHIR, PHI, and proficient in Python and SQL
  • have experience with Amazon Web Services (Glue)
  • have some exposure to Machine Learning
  • are a creative self-starter with the ability to work independently 
  • are experienced with software engineering best practices, coding standards, version management, testing, release, and operations support
