The role

As a Medical Editor (Freelance) at Frieda, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our medical content managers, medical advisors, product, sales, and marketing managers during an exciting phase of innovation and growth, building and shaping our new eHealthcare company. Together with our co-founder and CSO you will bring our content delivery to the next level and make a big impact on the company's development.  

Tasks and responsibilities

  • Review and proofread written content of our digital courses and offerings, as well as patient leaflets, press releases, social media posts, newsletters, and websites.
  • Ensure that our content adheres to our writing guidelines and quality standards.
  • Ensure that our content meets our target group’s tonality (women 50+).
  • Responsible for clarity, consistency, and accuracy.
  • Responsible for correct grammar, punctuation, spelling, and phrasing.
  • Maintain familiarity with current healthcare industry trends, pharmaceutical practices, and regulatory requirements that affect medical writing.

You'll fit great with these skills and values

  • Native German skills and strong personal relations to the topic of Menopause.
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in journalism, technical communication, writing studies, or related fields.
  • Exceptional medical or commercial writing skills and faultless grammar and spelling.
  • 2+ years of writing experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry with proficient knowledge of medical terminologies and jargon.
  • Strong project management skill and an autonomous working style.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and high level of attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
