The role
As an Icon Designer (Freelance) at Frieda, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our product designers and managers during an exciting phase of innovation and growth, building and shaping our new eHealthcare company. Together with our co-founder and CPTO you will bring our design delivery to the next level and make a big impact on the company's development.

Tasks and responsibilities

Create a set of intuitive, responsive (medical) icons
Collaborate in design briefs with Frieda’s diverse team and identify their needs.
Ensure a unified style for all icons that blends well with our existing visual identity.
Ensure icons can be applied in different channels such as a mobile app, website and social media.
Provide a few alternative styles for some icons at the initial stages before proceeding with the detailed design of the remaining ones.

You'll fit great with these skills and values

Bachelor's or Master's degree in graphic design, visual design, fine art or related.
Proven track record as an Illustrator, Graphic Designer or similar role.
Solid knowledge of image editing and digital sketching software.
Drawing skills with an attention to detail (both by hand and digital pen).
Strong aesthetic and conceptual skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Strong project management skill set and an autonomous working style.
Experience working in a fast-paced environment.
A passion for leveraging technology to improve women’s health and well-being.
