Key Responsibilities:

  • Idea Formation: Conceptualise and plan events revolving around topics such as VC, founders, private equity, politics, academia, and business.
  • Partnership Development: Identify and approach potential sponsors, campaigns, and non-profits to establish partnerships for events.
  • Event Execution and Scheduling: Coordinate all logistical aspects of events, including scheduling, food, and beverage arrangements, in collaboration with the Maxwell onsite events coordinator.
  • Member Engagement: Work closely with club leadership and members to ensure active participation in events, encouraging co-hosting and creation of new events by members.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience (2-4 years) in a platform role within VC, family office, private equity, or politics.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with speakers, organizers, and members from diverse backgrounds.
  • Broad knowledge and curiosity across various subjects and industries.
  • Strategic thinking to develop individual events and series, maximizing partnership potential.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain professionalism.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.

Compensation:

  • Salary range: $80,000 – $100,000 - Depending on experience
