Job Title: Head of Television, Film & Media Partnerships

  • Close major screenings and after-parties for film premieres, as well as Saturday Night Live after-parties.
  • Oversee Maxwell's Tribeca Film Festival programming.
  • Maintain relationships with all major production houses, agencies, and studios, and manage TV and film shoots at Maxwell.
  • Cultivate career and networking programming for the film and TV industry in a way that facilitates long-term relationships instead of short-term transactional connections.
  • Recruit and maintain relationships with members in film, TV, and media.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop novel programming ideas to engage film and television brands.
  • Maintain relationships with major production houses, studios, and agencies to secure their activations at Maxwell.
  • Formulate monthly dinner discussion groups, curated happy hours, and fireside chats with film and television industry luminaries.
  • Oversee all logistical aspects of events, including scheduling, food, and wine, in coordination with the Maxwell onsite events coordinator.
  • Convert event attendees to members and inspire them to co-host and create their own events alongside the Maxwell team.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Previous experience (2-4 years) working in film, media, or entertainment.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle multiple events simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with various types of speakers and organizers across various disciplines.
  • Intuition and curiosity across a wide variety of subjects.
  • A strategic, formulaic mind able to conceive of individual events that could become series and how to structure events for maximum partnership potential.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines while maintaining a high level of professionalism.
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000 base salary, plus 0.1% equity stake
