REMUNERATION: $80,000 - $105,000 depending on experience

THE OPPORTUNITY
Meliora clinicians have a central and vital role within the company, assessing children between the ages of 16 months and 21 years for autism and ADHD.
We are seeking a motivated and mission driven Licensed Psychologist to work with us, who is skilled and experienced in autism and ADHD diagnostic assessments and who is committed to delivering the best outcomes for neurodiverse children, young people and their families.
Key Duties:
- Conduct multidisciplinary assessments including psychology and speech language pathology. Responsibilities include diagnostic interviewing, the administration and interpretation of assessment measures, as well as generating evaluation reports.
- Review diagnostic impressions and recommendations with the client and/or family.
- Effectively communicate with neurodiverse children, young people and adults, families, internal and external staff
- Act as a professional role model at all times.
- Maintain the highest standards of clinical record keeping in our electronic health record.
- Work within the framework of your regulatory body, and maintain professional certifications and licensures.
- Meet productivity standards and key performance indicators.
- Act in accordance with all Meliora policies.
- Maintain and continue active professional development throughout your practice
- Adhere to the principles of effective and safe treatment of children and their families
WHAT YOU REQUIRE:
Essential
- Applicants must hold a PhD or PsyD and reside and be licensed as a Clinical Psychologist in Florida and be license eligible in New York (In most cases 5 years of experience in FL will suffice). Willingness to become licensed in other states if needed.
- Applicants must be familiar with and have experience administering the ADOS as well as other assessments such as the CARS, tele-ASD Peds etc.
- Experience conducting ADHD assessments
- Real passion for supporting people to improve their lives
- A curious mindset and drive to challenge the status quo for achieving better outcomes
- At least 5 years of clinical experience and at least 2 years experience in autism diagnostic assessments
- Ability to communicate complex and sensitive clinical information effectively, orally and in writing, to patients, their families, parents/guardians or other stakeholders
- Strong interest in educating families on a variety of topics
- Excellent documentation skills
- Strong executive functioning skills and ability to multitask.
- Interest in working in a fast paced startup environment.
- Interest in caring for younger children through young adults (age 25 years)
- A desire to work in a fast-paced, agile company that is laying down it’s foundations at rapid pace
Desirable but not required
- Bilingual in Spanish
- Experience being a part of a multidisciplinary team
- Experience with AthenaHealth EHR
