The role:

We are looking for a commercially focused VP of Revenue Operations to operationalize revenue strategies across our customer journey. This role is new at Mentimeter and will be crucial in further enhancing our revenue generating capabilities and ensuring a cohesive approach to driving revenue across the customer journey. We have a product-led growth go-to-market and our revenue comes from both self-service customers & enterprise customers. You will work with areas such as refining & streamlining operational workflows, identifying gaps in our understanding of operational performance & defining analysis to-be-done as well as ensuring alignment across commercial departments. 

You will report to the COO in a central department but working closely with catalysing revenue leaders in our commercial departments (sales, marketing & product). You will be responsible for leading & supporting a team consisting of our Sales Operations Director, Martech & Operations Director & Product Growth Lead which all work embedded in our commercial departments. The total extended teams working with the Revenue Operations area is roughly 10-15 people. 

What You’ll Do:

  • Strategic direction of Revenue Operations: Together with our CSO, CPO and CMO set the 3 year strategic agenda for how the Revenue Operations area will contribute to Mentimeter’s success 
  • Operationalization of revenue strategies: Responsible for the overview and refinement of end-to-end revenue processes, identifying gaps in our workflows across the customer journey as well as identifying new revenue operations enabled commercial opportunities
  • Strategic Alignment: Align initiatives, approaches and definitions across departments to ensure a cohesive approach to driving revenue across the customer journey
  • Facilitate data enabled commercial teams: Collaborate with our VP of Data & Analytics to leverage data to empower our commercial teams. Be the commercial counterpart for e.g. data activation & data collection. Support operational analysis & forecasting, identify gaps in our understanding of operational performance as well as defining analysis to-be-done and predictive data models needed.
  • Support alignment of priorities: Facilitate joint goal setting & alignment of priorities across departments. Own and develop our central planning process to ensure cross-functional resource allocation for efficient execution
  • Technology and tooling: Own the vision for the tech & tooling needed to manage and optimise the end-to-end revenue process - including adoption of new technology such as generative AI. Accountable for selection, implementation and management of tools that support the revenue-generating functions e.g. CRM systems, automation tools, and other tools that facilitate effective commercial operations.
  • People engagement, performance & retention for the RevOps teams: Responsible for the employee engagement, performance & retention in the Revenue Operations teams

We believe you have:

  • 10+ years relevant experience, whereof at least 6 years leadership experience 
  • Proven experience of being responsible for Revenue Operations in a fast-paced SaaS environment
  • A proven track record of revenue growth attributed to your work
  • A solid understanding of all parts of Revenue Operations (from strategy to tooling to organisational alignment) 
  • Strong execution skills with a love for getting things done -  you know how to transform a strategic directions to successful Revenue Operations 
  • Strong leadership skills and a track record of successfully coaching other leaders
  • Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills (you will be collaborating with many different functions and people)
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to define analysis to-be-done
  • Deep knowledge in Salesforce CRM and preferably also experience from marketing automation platforms, eg. Braze or similar 

It’s a bonus if you have:

  • Experience from working with Revenue Operations in a product lead growth & sales motion
  • Have worked in a scale up environment at a company of a similar size 
  • Have earlier experience of reporting directly to someone in the management team 

Please note that this role will have its base in our Stockholm office and is primarily an onsite role with the opportunity to work from home twice per week.
