We are looking to find a Product Owner for the Vehicle Foundation Team 

 

To make the vision of an autonomously driving mobility service a reality we are building up the new business domain Vehicle Integration with new product development teams. These teams develop the applications and tools needed to enable autonomous passenger management within our MOIA vehicles in a world without a driver: How do passengers authenticate themselves in the vehicle without a driver? How to ensure a safe cabin at all times during boarding and during the ride? Which content should be displayed on the vehicle screens to provide a safe and informative user experience for the passenger?  

Join the Vehicle Foundation Team as a Product Owner if you want to solve these challenges in an agile and customer-driven environment.  

 The team boosts the vehicle feature development process for three stream-aligned teams by providing platform functionality. It also develops modern automated solutions for hardware and software platforms by covering tooling, observability, security, provisioning. 

 

What you will do

 

  • Shaping, driving and executing the internal facing platform product strategy with your team of engineers 
  • Design technical compelling products like over-the-air updates, automated test environments or identity & access management to accelerate the delivery by client teams 
  • Collaborate closely with other teams and stakeholders to ideate a great platform product with strong focus on developer experience 
  • Drive towards automotive grade product design, including functional safety, cybersecurity and comprehensive documentation, ready to be used in an autonomous driving context 
  • Driving a culture of excellence: You will manage unknowns and uncertainty and take responsibility for serving our internal and external customers in the most convenient and efficient way. 
  • Enable and inspire the team to create innovative solution 

 

What will help you to fulfill your role 

  • Automotive: You gained some experience in an automotive context and consider the entire working system - hardware and software 
  • Technician: You like building a platform that other development teams can thrive on and appreciate the technical challenges that come with it 
  • Visionary: You like to see the full picture, craft compelling visions for your ideas, and understand what makes your internal products viable (or not) 
  • Pragmatist: You get things done, identify problems and are effective in prioritisation of challenges to unblock you, your team and others. 
  • Communicator: People enjoy working with you because you communicate well with your team and different stakeholders. 
  • Ability and interest to work in a dynamic and ever-changing environment, 
  • Fluent communication in English is required, German is a plus
