Join us as a (Senior) Product Manager (m/f/d) in our Trip Interaction team on a shared journey that matters!

At MOIA we stand for mobility, community and the higher objective of making our cities a better place to live in. Riding together connects people with people and people with places. It strengthens the sense of community, reduces local emissions and makes our city more liveable. With Europe’s biggest electric ride pooling fleet, we have brought over 9 million riders to their destination. Want to get on board?

About your team

You’ll be part of our Trip Interaction team, which is responsible for ensuring our customers have all they need during their MOIA ride – now and in the future. Because this team is responsible for both, our current service on the streets of Hamburg and Hanover as well as our future (autonomous) ridepooling service as we scale to new cities.

Your team is providing real-time information and educational material, passenger guidance and relevant trip updates for our passengers throughout the service experience – sounds simple? Think about the autonomous ridepooling scenario, where there is no driver who can open the door and authenticate the passengers and welcome them, explain why the vehicle is stopping to pick up more passengers, what the rider should be doing next etc. What this team does is essential when ensuring a high level of trust and reliability, for all passengers, but especially those using our autonomous service. You will be driving this innovation, bringing the future of shared mobility to the cities.

We are a cross-functional team of developers, designers and domain experts, passionately striving to improve our service quality. We live by the saying: “you build it, you run it”. We strive for calm nights and weekends without incidents by delivering software with the highest engineering quality. We value open communication, constructive discussions and prioritize collaboration and knowledge exchange within the team and across teams.

What you will do

  • Be an advocate for our customers’ needs, gain in-depth understanding of their pain points when travelling through our cities, and empower the team to build impactful features to solve those problems
  • Use different insight sources (data, user research, prototyping) to identify potential with an impact towards our mission, strategy and measurable goals
  • Balance the needs of the customer with those of the business, and bring that business perspective to the team from discovery to delivery and impact evaluation
  • Be the owner of MOIA’s Passenger Experience, creating and realising a roadmap that turns our company strategy into a competitive advantage for the future of mobility
  • Gain an in-depth understanding of MOIA’s challenge of providing excellent Rider Experiences for other cities within our B2B2C and B2G2C scaling strategy
  • Prepare and prioritize new features such as epics and stories for planning and refinement meetings within the team
  • Join forces with the Technical Lead and Agile Coach of the team to share technical and business critical responsibilities, which ensures you are building a stable & high-quality product and maintain a great team culture
  • Create alignment within the team as well as with other teams like Booking, Payment and Vehicle Integration to manage dependencies and timelines for cross-team functionalities
  • Manage external partnerships with our Autonomous Driving partners and City clients
  • Represent the Trip Interaction team within the Product Community, sharing your experience in building highly valuable products with your peers to elevate each other

Who we are

At MOIA GmbH, our team of more than 350 employees develops the technical products for our on-demand ridepooling service in the form of an end-to-end integrated product, from hub, fleet, and driver management to passenger and B2B solutions. At the same time, we want to make the vision of an autonomously driving mobility service a reality and plan to bring the first autonomous MOIA ridepooling vehicle to the streets by 2025.

At our offices in Berlin and Hamburg, international teams of developers, engineers, designers, and strategists work on a shared mission. As a tech company, more than half of our employees are developers. We pursue value-driven development based on our product values of comfort, reliability, safety, and privacy.

We aspire to be a leading company in the fields of rethinking mobility and improving urban transportation by making it more relaxed, more affordable and an entirely positive experience for everyone.

MOIA gets things moving. On a shared journey – towards an easier, smarter, and more meaningful future.
