We're looking for a visionary Lead Product Manager to join our team and enable the development of our autonomous Ridepooling products and MOIA’s city rollout. MOIA is at an exciting point in its history, ready to scale our successful Ridepooling service to multiple cities across Europe, while at the same time helping cities make the transition from driver-based to autonomous public transportation. As a Lead Product Manager, you'll have the opportunity to shape the future of mobility, driving innovation and pushing the boundaries of what's possible. 

In your role as a Lead Product Manager, you will work closely with our Directors of Product and Product Managers to coordinate and implement strategic initiatives, discoveries and projects across domains in our Ridepooling business unit.  

What you will do

  • Lead overarching, cross-team initiatives in the development of our autonomous mobility product strategy and ensure seamless collaboration and progress towards well-defined milestones
  • Serve as an advocate for our autonomous Ridepooling products, supporting their success both internally and externally and keeping abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices
  • Conceptualize and engage with external stakeholders and project partners, orchestrating collaboration and bringing valuable insights back to our teams
  • Understand market needs for our B2G2C and B2B2C licensing strategy and translate gaps from tenders, sales feedback or committed projects into actionable insights for product development
  • Collaborate closely as connector of all product development teams, as well as design, marketing, projects, sales, and customer support teams to bring our autonomous Ridepooling vision onto the streets of Hamburg and other European cities Monitor key performance metrics and identify opportunities for optimization and growth, driving continuous improvement and decision making
  • Help bring our Product Office forward, introducing product operations initiatives and enabling best practices sharing across domains
  • Inspire and support your peer group of 13 product managers in our business unit, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence 

What will help you to fulfill your role 

You are a seasoned product expert with 7+ years of experience successfully launching and managing digital products? The role is for you if you have demonstrated the following qualities: 

  • Excellence: With your vast experience in Product Management, you master the skill of finding the balance between business, stakeholder and user needs. You leverage insights to make informed decisions and create a shared understanding to ensure your prioritization is aligned and understood by all relevant parties. You bring insights from different (product) contexts, experience with SaaS B2B and project management is a plus. 
  • Vision: You think big, craft compelling visions for your ideas and understand what makes products commercially viable. You are excited about bringing business value and can bridge the gap between technical world and business world. You love solving complex and multifaceted problems, balancing competing priorities, managing trade-offs, and driving cross-functional collaboration to achieve strategic objectives. 
  • Enabling: You have proven that you can foster a culture of innovation and collaboration, empowering team members to contribute their expertise and ideas towards achieving common goals. You drive consensus and alignment around strategic priorities and effectively negotiate competing interests. 
  • Pragmatism: You get things done, make sound decisions, resolve issues effectively and take calculated risks. You enjoy getting involved and coordinating complex challenges - and then you trust the teams to take it from there to figure out the implementation. 
  • Communication: People enjoy working with you because you communicate well and evoke optimism, even when you’re communicating complex information. You are experienced in adjusting your messaging to different internal and external stakeholders and inspire people by translating your expertise into clear and straightforward language. Plus, you are not afraid of asking a lot of questions to refine your understanding. 
  • Growth Mindset: You navigate organizational dynamics, market disruptions, and ambiguous situations with confidence, resilience and adaptability, using setbacks as opportunities for growth and innovation. You exhibit a deeper commitment to personal and professional growth, actively seeking opportunities to expand your impact, serving as role model for your team members.  
  • Fluent communication in English is required, German is a plus.
