We have several products that provide essential services for businesses such as credit, overdrafts, bank integration, payment gateway. etc. We leverage artificial intelligence and data to make our decisions, but also have the technology and data-driven best practices used to support our businesses.
Having been able to build this self-sustaining, profitable business solving problems in Nigeria, we want to help everyone around the world seamlessly trade (or remit) with African businesses and individuals, so we are launching our UK and international financial services’ business which will be headquartered in the UK. Moniepoint GB is going to be a huge, impactful business now, and in the future.

What you’ll get to do:
- Write and edit copy for a broad range of stakeholders and projects from all areas of Moniepoint GB
- Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to define user interface requirements for our products
- Edit app copy with UX guidance for UI designers to get the best customer flow journey
- Create copy for all our channels like websites, emails, social and more
- Write and edit user-focused content, including UI text, labels, and instructional copy that guides users through complex services
- Act as a tone of voice consultant within Moniepoint GB to provide guidance across all communications
- Understand the different language styles in translation for all our markets
- Participate in the creative process from concept to completion, providing insights and recommendation.
- Work closely with the legal and regulatory teams to ensure all content complies with industry standards and regulations
To succeed in this role, we think you should have
- Extensive professional copywriting experience in-house or agency as demonstrated in a portfolio
- Familiarity with SEO best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a UX writer or copywriter
- Fintech or tech industry experience preferred
- Demonstrated ability to write clear and engaging content for a variety of digital products and platforms
- Strong understanding of UX design principles and how content influences user behavior and interaction
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiar with Agile project management tools like Workfront and design software like Figma
- Ability to build relationships with teams and senior leaders across the business
- Organised and reliable on delivery deadlines with attention to detail
