Job Summary
The People Operation Officer works with Human Resource Business Partners to establish creative, strategic people programs and solutions that promote people-focused culture, address organizational challenges and achieve business goals. This individual must be smart and quick to learn and have basic understanding of Human Resource Processes and their applications..
Duties & Responsibilities
- The role is generally remote but the People Operations Officer must be resident in Lagos and be willing to periodically visit the Moniepoint offices in Lagos.
- Maintain and update HR records, ensuring data accuracy and confidentiality..
- Support HR projects and initiatives as needed.
- Support day-to-day operations of the People Operations department..
- Support resolution of employee relation issues. Proffer and implement effective solutions where required.
- Understand the strategic objectives and operations of different Strategic Business Units.
- Support Human Resource Business Partners to manage the lifecycle of employees from onboarding to exit.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Head, People Operations
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant discipline.
- 1 - 2 years of relevant work and industry experience, Familiarity with HRIS and other HR software is a plus.
- Working knowledge of multiple human resource processes
- Proficiency in microsoft excel or google sheets
- Basic knowledge of Data driven storytelling and analysis
- Ability to be proactive and forward-thinking
- Strong presentation and communication skills
