The Role
We are looking to hire a start-up experienced, entrepreneurial Head of Sales to build up our UK sales team. Reporting to the Head of International Expansion, the Head of Sales UK will be a strategic thinker, proven and empathic people leader, and energetic "do-er" with a strong bias to taking action.

Your Responsibilities

Accountable for driving measurable results that achieve and exceed revenue and growth targets in the United Kingdom, our Head of Sales - United Kingdom will help set the strategic direction of our UK market launch, and ultimately be responsible for the successful execution of the Go To Market strategy. More specifically, here's what you can expect to do in the role:

  • Work hand-in-hand with our international expansion team and C-level leadership
  • Build a high performing sales team in the UK with the support of our rock-star recruiting team
  • Help instill the Moss Culture to the local  team
  • Create and execute the GTM strategy for the UK market
  • Identify and coordinate localization requirements (e.g., for our product)
  • Engage with local stakeholders, source and close local partnerships 
  • Set up and lead a local sales team; own and manage our local book-of-business
  • And ultimately help ensure the success of our business in the UK 

Your Skills & Experience

  • 6+ years of working experience in a fast-paced environment in a UK-based company as well as significant management experience, preferably gained in a SaaS or Fintech environment
  • A successful track record in building and leading high performing B2B sales teams in the past
  • Deep knowledge of the UK market (startups and SMBs) and ideally a substantial business network 
  • Strong entrepreneurial drive, which allows you to build up our UK business from the ground up
  • Hands-on person and enjoy working independently to get things done
  • Strong analytical and data-driven mindset to continuously improve our GTM approach
  • Experiences in finance processes and the modern finance function
  • People manager, you know how to mentor, coach and motivate your sales teams to get the best out of your team members
  • Very strong communication skills
