With innovation ingrained in our approach, we are actively developing the main pillars of our operational structure. As we are scaling, we are looking for a Team Lead People Experience (m/f/d) to join our People Team of innovative thinkers and build Europe’s next FinTech unicorn. 

The People Experience Team is responsible for creating a great experience across the employee lifecycle, from the moment new colleagues join Moss, all the way through their careers. The team is responsible for onboarding new colleagues (including creating contracts), acting as the main point of contact for Mossers day-to-day, and defining processes to support Moss’ growth and international expansion. We are looking for a Team Lead who has a customer-centric mindset, a high level of empathy, and who can work hands-on with senior stakeholders to scale the company.

What you will do:

  • Scale the company:
    • Oversee contract creation including developing contract templates, virtual stock option plans and country specific requirements, 
    • Be the main contact person for contracts and onboarding connecting Talent Acquisition, People Experience and Business Leadership
    • Do case management for exceptional cases  
  • Drive operational excellence: 
    • Ensure delivery of reports to stakeholders and ensure communication of our Service Level Agreements
  • Coach and develop a team:
    • Lead, coach and guide our People Experience Specialists and support in international employee, employer of record (EOR) and freelance contract management

What you bring to the table:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in People Experience/HR Operations, preferably in a hyper growth, fast-paced SaaS/Tech environment
  • Minimum 1 year of leadership experience
  • Fluent written and spoken German skills, plus the ability to speak and write fluently in English (additional languages like Dutch, Polish, Spanish, Estonian is a plus)
  • Good knowledge of German and international (EU) labour, tax and social security law
  • Ideally you have already worked in an international environment and know the specifics of various European countries when it comes to contracts and people operations (vacation regulations in European countries, employer of record structures, specifics of remote work, etc.)
  • Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills. 
  • Empathetic and solution-oriented mindset with an appetite for ongoing improvement of our approach and practices.
  • Experience with Greenhouse and Personio is a plus
