JOB/ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead Engineer, responsible for setting up the development environment and developing and deploying services. Will work under the direction of the Lead Engineer, responsible for developing and deploying services.
- Creating database tables and associated scripts will be an early priority.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Strong Java developer working with Spring Boot Framework and Maven
• Experience building REST APIs
• Experience working with Oracle database objects such as tables, views, stored procedures, triggers, and packages, etc.
• Experience with import processes to load external files into the database
• Experience writing SQL scripts, SQL tuning experience is good to have
GOOD SKILLS TO HAVE:
• Working knowledge of Docker, GitHub, OpenShift, and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with development in an agile environment
• Ability to learn quickly
• Teamwork, contributing to team problem solving
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills in English
• Familiarity with financial crime or cross-border payment concepts
