So, what’s the role all about?
The senior billing data analyst oversees end-to-end Order Management and Billing activities in Finance. This position is responsible for the completeness and accuracy of all customer invoices. The position monitors team productivity, coaches, and trains team members to improve throughput and accuracy, recommends process improvements and ensures operational efficiency targets and KPI’s are being achieved. This role is a critical part of maximizing the company’s revenue and cash flow through accurate and timely billing.
How will you make an impact?
- Use SQL and systems skills/knowledge to research billing error root causes, resolve issues and recommend system changes to correct deficiencies.
- Reduce Credits due to billing errors through root cause analysis and process improvements.
- Ensure the Order Management and Billing Department is SOX and Audit compliant.
- Ensure product builds and pricing plans are set up, tested, and functioning correctly in the billing system.
Have you got what it takes?
- Tech-savvy skills in mastering business systems and data
- Proficiency with Salesforce, Microsoft Suite, CRM systems, Dashboards & BI Reporting
- Experience using Excel and SQL for data extraction and analysis.
You will have an advantage if you also have:
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance or Accounting, or equivalent work experience required. Master’s Degree preferred but not required.
- 6-8+ years’ experience running billing systems, preferably in the telecommunications and/or software industry.
