Nothing's debut smartphone, Phone (1), earned Time Magazine’s prestigious Best Inventions for Innovative Smartphone Design award. Through cutting-edge design and user interface innovation, the London-based company is creating an alternative ecosystem of tech products for the young and creative.

In 2023, the company launched Phone (2) to wide acclaim from its community, the media, and design enthusiasts, and in 2024, Nothing launched its CMF Phone 1, and Nothing Phone (2a) Series, with both receiving an overwhelmingly positive reception.

To date, Nothing has sold more than 7 million units worldwide across its product lines, having released five audio products, five smartphones, and two smart wearables under the Nothing and CMF by Nothing brands. The company has amassed a cumulative revenue of $1 billion.

All products are developed in close collaboration with the Nothing Community, which includes over 8,000 private investors and are crafted with sustainability at the forefront.

The Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join Nothing technology working within the growth marketing & ecom division. This role combines the strategic and creative aspects of digital merchandising with the operational management & execution required to ensure smooth website performance. You will be responsible for maintaining the online product catalog, optimizing user experience, implementing promotions, and ensuring the website runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis.

In addition, you will play a critical role in addressing ad-hoc requests related to the website, collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve the digital customer journey, and executing key merchandising strategies. This position requires a mix of analytical thinking, creativity, and operational excellence.

 

Digital Merchandising:

  • Product Placement & Optimization: Manage the online product catalog, ensuring products are presented effectively on the website. Organize and optimize product categories, collections, and featured items to enhance the customer journey and maximize sales.
  • Pricing & Promotions: Implement pricing strategies, discounts, and promotions across product pages. Coordinate promotional campaigns and ensure proper execution on the website.
  • Cross-Selling & Upselling: Collaborate with the marketing and content teams to implement upsell and cross-sell opportunities on product pages and during checkout.
  • A/B Testing & Performance Analysis: Conduct A/B tests on product placements, banners, and content to continuously improve conversion rates and user experience. Analyze performance data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.
  • Stock Management: Coordinate with inventory and supply chain teams to ensure product availability and accurate stock levels on the website. Handle product out-of-stock notifications and ensure timely updates for unavailable items.

Website Operations Management:

  • Ad-hoc Requests: Manage ad-hoc requests related to website updates, content changes, and merchandising adjustments. This includes collaborating with design, development, and marketing teams to implement quick fixes or enhancements as needed.
  • Content Management System (CMS): Update and maintain website content (e.g., product descriptions, images, banners) using the CMS. Ensure all content is accurate, up-to-date, and aligned with branding guidelines.
  • Customer Experience Optimization: Collaborate with UX/UI teams to ensure seamless navigation, fast load times, and an intuitive shopping experience across desktop and mobile devices.
  • Site Maintenance: Monitor the website for any operational issues, such as broken links, slow load times, or incorrect product listings. Working closely with a front-end engineer to troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
