About the role:

We are looking for a HR Business Partner who will be responsible for liaising between the people  operations and the business units and provide strategic as well as operational support to the business  and leaders in the India region. This role will report into the Head of HR, India  

We are in a growth phase of the business and the HR Business Partner will get exposure to a broad  range of HR areas. Key focus for the next six months will be recruitment hence a high preference for  a candidate with strong exposure in Talent Acquisition.  

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive talent acquisition in the region in collaboration with the global TA and India leadership  team and attract/acquire top talent  
  • Align HR strategies and initiatives with the business strategy to enhance organizational  performance  
  • Work with teams, managers, and key stakeholders to help build an organization and people  capability  
  • Shape and implement effective people strategies and activities within the organization.
  • Evaluate and analyze the existing business pain points and create strategies, action plans, and  programs that meet business objectives  
  • Proactively collect market talent reports, and insights to better provide internal advisory and  consultancy to the business  
  • Work closely with the Global People team to optimize HR policies for the India business unit  to drive efficiency and improve the employee experience  
  • Partner with the global HR team and People Operations Lead and handle employee relation  issues properly according to local employment regulations and compliances  
  • Liaise with external vendors such as HR outsourcing service providers, insurance providers,  and HRIS consultants, to ensure the service quality 
  • Play a key role in building the organizational culture, providing support to employees, and  being the face of HR to employees and the business  Provide support in driving monthly HR operations activities i.e. Monthly payroll, HR  compliances, POSH compliances and organizing annual POSH training  

 

Key Qualifications:

  • At least 8-10 years of HR experience or HR generalist experience in multinational companies.
  •  Strong background in Talent Acquisition will be preferred  
  • Proficient in HRBP experience, including talent acquisition, people development, evaluating  capability within the target business unit, and mapping talent to developing people strategies. 
  • Aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units.
  • Understand leadership and team management skills, and be willing to develop people.
  • Fluency in written and spoken English is essential. 
  • Ability to think critically, strategically and creatively.  
  • Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and deliver projects on time.  
  • Enjoys the hustle of a startup.
