The Role:

  • As Case Manager, Netherlands, you will lead compliant, efficient, and customer-focused absence management, reducing risks tied to absenteeism and long-term absences. 
  • Your role involves managing vendor partnerships, offering expert support to Omnipresent's customers and their employees on absence-related matters, and driving and implementing global policies, processes, and training initiatives. 
  • Initially focused on Dutch sick and parental leave management, you'll have the opportunity to expand your influence across multiple regions.

Your Experience:

  • Deep knowledge and experience with Dutch laws and regulations (Gatekeeper Improvement Act, Sickness Benefits Act, WAZO, WVP, WIA, social security, etc.), with a strong ability to apply them effectively.
  • Experience in designing and executing absenteeism prevention programs, with knowledge of income insurance and labor laws related to attendance and leave management being a plus.
  • Proven success in driving reintegration processes and return-to-work initiatives with innovative solutions.
  • Strong experience independently managing complex leave cases with a focus on legal compliance and strategic HR advisory.
  • Extensive experience managing complex termination processes with professionalism, compliance, and risk mitigation.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, with a track record of successful collaboration across teams, clients, and employees.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Dutch.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Serve as the lead expert on absence management, focusing on Dutch sick and parental leave management.
  • Independently manage complex employee leave cases, ensuring strict compliance and a positive experience for clients and employees.
  • Manage documentation and submission requirements for absence cases.
  • Lead discussions with clients and partners to resolve leave management challenges and ensure compliance.
  • Provide strategic guidance on absenteeism and reintegration (Wet Verbetering Poortwachter) with innovative solutions and recommendations.
  • Develop and refine SOPs for leave administration, aligning with best practices and regulations.
  • Facilitate offboarding procedures and drive continuous improvements to optimize the offboarding experience for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Create and maintain a detailed set of policies and procedures aligned with legal standards, demonstrating strong attention to detail and regulatory expertise.
  • Mentor junior team members, providing expert advice, coaching, and support to aid in their growth and development.
  • Proactively gather feedback to guide strategic initiatives enhancing the employee experience.
  • Oversee the management of employee data to ensure confidentiality, accuracy, and adherence to regulatory requirements.
