We’re talented professional DB Engineers who are part of Optimove’s Infrastructure team. We’re in charge of maintaining hundreds of MSSQLs, MongoDB, Snowflake, BigTable, BigQuery and ElasticSearch production database clusters with hundreds of TB’s of data on AWS/GCP cloud platforms in terms of deployment, development, management, and monitoring.

We work closely with System, DevOps Production Engineers and R&D Developers on all of our databases’ infrastructure and applicative elements.

Responsibilities:

Build and manage large-scale database systems
Work with developers in modeling, creating and maintaining data structures
Assist in R&D of DB-related projects and agendas
Quickly identify and resolve production issues
Help automate and develop our internal systems
Provide on-call support when needed

Requirements:

3+ years of hands-on production experience with Relational databases, for example: MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle
3+ years of hands-on production experience with NoSQL such as MongoDB, CouchDB, CouchBase
You’ve also worked with cloud databases like Snowflake, BigTable, BigQuery
You’re a fast learner with high level infrastructure knowledge in Unix/Linux systems
Experience with data architecture, data modeling, performance tuning, high availability, scalability etc.
