About the role

Outlier Ventures are looking for an Account Executive to join the Growth and Partnerships team, reporting into the Chief Growth Officer.

You will need to be a diligent and charismatic self-starter, able to work in a target driven organization. The role will work with the senior stakeholders in industries and high profile brands that are most interested in innovating in Web 3, including gaming, music, media, sports, entertainment, science and finance.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Selling to big brands / enterprises 
  • Individual contributor with quarterly targets
  • Establish relationships with new and existing customers and secure contracts with new customers that achieve assigned sales quotas and targets
  • Drive the entire sales cycle from qualified lead to closed sales
  • Prospect for potential customers using various direct methods such as calling and face to face meetings, and indirect methods such as networking
  • Maintain a high level of relevant domain knowledge (Technology, preferably Web3.0) in order to have meaningful conversations with prospects.
  • Make presentations to senior managers and decision makers
  • Draft and deliver proposals
  • Develop and maintain sales plans which outline how sales targets will be met on an ongoing basis
  • Develop and maintain key account plans that identify opportunities for company to deliver value, strategic motivators, main stakeholders, buying processes and forecasted sales
  • Report on sales activity
  • Work with marketing to plan and execute lead generation campaigns
  • Provide feedback to the Chief Growth Officer on ways to decrease the sales cycle, enhance sales, and improve the company brand and reputation

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has a minimum of 6 years’ experience in B2B sales roles with a successful track record of closing deals and revenue generation
  • Comfortable operating with quarterly targets
  • Thorough understanding of tech partnerships 
  • Motivated by the prospect of closing new business
  • Highly organized with excellent and time management skills
  • Confidence and belief in what they are selling
  • An excellent communicator and relationship manager
  • The ability to quickly grow and adapt within our evolving company
  • Familiar with Web3, willing to learn 
  • Experience in using Hubspot

Package

Package is subject to relevant experience. It will bias towards performance related bonuses, including the opportunity to invest directly into token projects on the same terms as the Outlier Ventures partnership
