About the role
Outlier Ventures are looking for a Sales Development Representative (SDR) to join the Growth & Partnerships team, reporting into the Chief Growth Officer.
SDR will focus on outreach, prospecting, and lead qualification. The role will work with industries and high profile brands that are most interested in innovating in Web 3, including gaming, music, media, sports, entertainment, science and finance.
You will need to be a diligent and charismatic self-starter, able to work in a target driven organisation.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain a self-starter attitude while creating outreach strategies for new lead generation methods
- Anticipate needs by studying services and conducting market research to identify new leads
- Support senior sales teams and sales representatives on outbound strategies and lead generating efforts
- Monitor and attend meetings with prospects while handling the introductions and follow-up with the Account Executives
- Be the first point of contact for new business prospects and determine the next steps for each prospect moving forward
- Establish active communication and engagement with prospects to create new leads and sales openings
- Collaborate with sales teams by bringing innovative lead generation ideas to each weekly meeting
We are looking for someone who:
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar B2B sales role
- Flawless communication skills, both written and oral
- Demonstrated ability to work solo as well as being a productive team member, making outbound calls every day
- Have a strong work ethic and are eager to learn and make new connections with prospects
- Must be an excellent problem-solver and willing to collaborate in an exceedingly competitive environment
- You love closing deals using complex market research and focusing on continued learning and improvement
- Thorough understanding of commercial awareness and brand recognition to successfully establish rapport with prospects
- Familiar with Web3, willing to learn
- Have experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator or other similar prospecting applications while keeping track of dead-end leads
- Proficient in Hubspot
Package is subject to relevant experience. It will bias towards performance related bonuses, including the opportunity to invest directly into token projects on the same terms as the Outlier Ventures partnership
