About the Role

We’re looking for an SEO Manager to join our high performing SEO team and be responsible for the growth goals associated with our entire website's organic traffic. 

As SEO Manager you will play a key role in overseeing and coordinating SEO projects from inception to completion. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams including content managers, product marketing managers, designers, web developers, web project managers and other various stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and meet high-quality standards. You will work on a wide variety of projects ranging from content brief creation, and technical audit to long-term SEO and content strategy and competitor’s battle cards. 

To excel in this role, you should have an excellent understanding of SEO and content best practices, extraordinary communication skills, and project and time management skills. Data analytics skills and exceptional attention to detail are a must. 

You will report to the SEO Team Lead.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content creation process: manage the whole process from ideation and creation of detailed briefs to editing and on-page optimisation of the ready content, keeping an up-to-date content calendar, and ensuring our content is localised across our regional websites.
  • Topic research: continuously research topics to expand opportunities and guide content creation.
  • Original content: create independently short-form original content and update already existing one.
  • On-page optimisations: own the whole process from ideation to implementation. Your responsibility will be to identify potential improvements of on-page elements for optimisation, collect feedback, and actually implement them on the website.
  • Competitor analysis: conduct competitor analysis to understand competitor strategies and identify missed opportunities, both from a technical and content perspective.
  • Develop internal and external link strategies: create strategies for internal linking and identify external linking opportunities.
  • Monitor website health: Regularly monitor website health, including errors, speed issues, etc., and provide recommendations for fixes or fix the issue yourself.
  • Collaborate with technical teams: Work directly with technical teams to implement SEO recommendations and ensure quality assurance processes.
  • Analyse traffic and rankings and create reports: Analyse website traffic, prepare regular reports, and present data in an understandable manner.

 

Person Requirements

  • Deep understanding of SEO best practices and at least 4+ years of experience, preferably in B2B SaaS with a proven track record of SEO projects
  • Advanced understanding and experience using Google Products, especially Google Analytics, Google Search Console, and Looker
  • Advanced understanding and experience using SEO tools such as SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog, Lumar, or similar
  • Experience with structure data markup and writing regex. Basic knowledge of JS, and HTML.
  • Good understanding of the marketing funnel (TOFU, MOFU, BOFU), customer persona, and how they translate into SEO and content marketing strategy
  • Experience in authoring and editing content with a strong eye for detail
  • Experience with different content management systems
  • Experience with analysing traffic trends, keyword rankings, conversion rates, etc. 
  • Ability to work both independently and cross-functionally
  • Experience with project management tools such as Asana, Jira or equivalent and CRM tools like Salesforce or equivalent is a plus
  • Knowledge of the finance industry is a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are essential
