Your Responsibilities
Our Communications team looks after Policy Expert’s Internal Communications, Events and PR activity. As Internal Communications Manager, you’ll be a voice that connects our people with the heart of our business. Your passion, adaptability, and big ideas will be key in shaping our internal communications and driving a strong sense of community across the business. You’ll oversee our internal communications platforms, play a major part in company events and help orchestrate the flow of information to keep our teams informed, engaged, and inspired, implementing our internal communications strategy throughout the business.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of the company-wide internal communications strategy, ensuring clarity, engagement, and alignment with business priorities.
- Responsibility for the management of our company intranet. Becoming a key liaison with our provider to ensure our intranet is optimally serving the business, making enhancements and improvements, and gathering data insights. Collaborating with and supporting Power Users across multiple sites.
- Working with the business to create compelling content for internal channels that bring our company strategy and values to life, including newsletters, updates, videos, briefings, company-wide emails, and live event content.
- Work with our Head of Communications to ensure engaging, dynamic, and innovative company events including business updates and leadership conferences.
- Drive initiatives that energize our colleagues, amplify our unique culture and brand and foster a strong sense of community and belonging.
- Continuously seeking out and implementing fresh, innovative approaches to communication, leveraging new tools, platforms, and trends to keep our messaging dynamic and engaging.
- Using data and engagement insights to monitor and improve our communications approach and stay informed of industry trends and communications best practices.
Helping to manage and improve internal communications channels and processes, including but not limited to the intranet, content management systems, e-mail, videos, workshops, media, and events.

- Experience: You have relevant career experience in an internal communications role in an executive or junior management position, preferably in a UK-based financial services or other regulated industry.
- Tech-Savvy: You’re comfortable with digital tools and platforms, and you have experience managing internal communications channels and implementing new solutions.
- People Champion: You’re committed to fostering an environment where everyone feels heard, respected, and included, and you actively seek out diverse perspectives.
- Brand Advocate: You understand the brand tone and voice and are comfortable creating visually engaging, on-brand templates and materials.
- Adaptable: You’re comfortable with change and can quickly pivot to meet evolving needs and priorities.
