Responsibilities:

The Partnership Development Manager will have a key role in screening, negotiating and managing large accounts for the Power Dot team in Spain, managing a pipeline of Real State owners/managers and retail chains. At the same time, the Business Development Manager will be managing a team, providing them all the support to achieve their individual and team goals.  He will also be supported by a central team which is 100% focused in constantly optimizing business development and sales processes to help the individual maximize the success of its efforts.

The Business Development Manager will have a dynamic day-to-day life characterized by a multiplicity of functions of the greatest importance:

  • Manage a team of partnership developers. Define goals and provide support during the entire sales cycle. 
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process: lead generation, prospecting, commercial proposal, definition of optimal client solutions, negotiation, contract signing
  • Define acquisition targets by establishing a strategic plan
  • Qualify the base of business prospects and enrich it by sourcing the right contacts
  • Develop and manage business proposals creatively and conduct negotiations 
  • Define and implement strategies to accelerate online and offline business development
  • Coordinate with the rest of the Partnership Development team to ensure the achievement of objectives within established timings

 

The Candidate:

The Candidate must have a high proactive and independent entrepreneurial spirit, combined with an enormous capacity of problem solving, decision making and communication skills. The Candidate also must feel comfortable with managing a team and  taking fast independent decisions on the spot and is not afraid to conduct an end-to-end sale over a phone call or in a business meeting.

The Candidate must have Spanish as a mother language or be fluent in both oral and written Spanish in order to be able to prepare business documents and conduct meetings in this language. English is a plus.

The Candidate must have professional experience between 4 to 6 years, preferably in similar sales or business development functions at fast growing B2B startups.The candidate has previously managed a team of at least 3 members.  The Candidate’s academic background is likely from one of the following areas: Economics, Engineering, Finance, Management or Marketing. The Candidate must have an interest and enthusiasm in the area of ​​electric mobility and, although not fundamental, experiences in the area or in a related area are highly valued.

Given the nature of the role, the Candidate must be available to travel around the country.
