The Accounting Manager will report directly to the Head of Accounting & Tax. She/He will have a dynamic day-to-day life characterised by a multiplicity of functions such as:

๐Ÿ‘‰Plan, supervise, and coordinate the Accounting team

๐Ÿ‘‰Ensure compliance with accounting standards

๐Ÿ‘‰Prepare the individual and consolidated financial statements (IRFS), and ensure all the consolidation adjustments are properly documented.

๐Ÿ‘‰Analyse all balances and transactions with related parties;

๐Ÿ‘‰Ensure monthly accounting processes

๐Ÿ‘‰Prepare monthly cash flows

๐Ÿ‘‰Fixed assets control

๐Ÿ‘‰Ensure the recording of accruals and deferrals in accordance with accounting standards (IFRS)

๐Ÿ‘‰Ensure continuous improvement and efficiency in the Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) processes for the different companies within the group.

๐Ÿ‘‰Support in defining processes and procedures

๐Ÿ‘‰Support in the in year-end closing processes and external audits

๐Ÿ‘‰Understand business needs and give support  

We believe youโ€™ll thrive in this role if you have:

  • Business, economy and/or accounting degree
  • Quickly adapt to a fast-paced environment, be a team player, and always have a positive and hands-on attitude;
  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality
  • Have excellent written and verbal communication skills, both in Portuguese and English. Good comprehension and verbal communication in Spanish and French will be highly valued;
  • Consolidated experience in Navision (ERP) is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of financial regulations and accounting principles (SNC and IFRS).
  • Experience in the consolidation process and preparing consolidated financial statements.
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and service providers
