Responsibilities:

The Accounting Specialist will have a dynamic day-to-day life characterised by a multiplicity of functions in the accounting team such as:

👉 Issuing customer invoices

👉 Ensure the collection of customer invoices and allocation of receipts

👉 Bookkeeping supplier invoices, employee expenses and the recording of  payments as well as their allocation.

👉 Ensure reconciliation of supplier and customer current accounts

👉 Recording payroll 

👉 Perform bank reconciliations and maintain accurate records of all financial transactions

👉 Management of the customer and supplier database

👉 Management of fixed asset records

👉 Support in the monthly closing processes

👉 Support to business units

We believe you’ll thrive in this role if you have:

  • Business, economy and/or accounting degree or equivalent
  • Good written and spoken English communication skills
  • Good written and spoken Polish communication skills
  • Attention to detail, strong problem solving skills & ability to clearly articulate complex issues;
  • Excellent planning and organisational skills in order to prioritise and effectively manage a wide variety of ongoing tasks, in order to meet the multiple deadlines;
  • Ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues and service providers
  • Good team player;
  • Advance Microsoft Office skills (in particular a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
