A little about the team who you will be working with

We are looking to hire a Campaigns & Paid Advertising Associate to be a key member of the marketing team as we continue to expand. 

 

Key responsibilities:

  • End-to-end responsibility for digital marketing campaigns, from planning and scoping opportunity through to execution, monitoring and analysis of performance. 
  • Support on both B2C and B2B marketing efforts, bringing campaign expertise into strategy development.
  • Planning, implementation and optimization of paid marketing strategies, mainly in Google Search & Display, App Install Ads, but across other channels where required (Paid social, ASO, Affiliates, etc.)
  • Identification of new digital marketing channels and monitoring industry trends and competitor strategy 
  • Work alongside other key business stakeholders – Legal, Capital Markets, CX, Design and Product to help complete large projects
  • Developing best-practice documentation and training materials for the growing marketing function.

You will be successful in the role if 

  • Have 4+ years’ experience in marketing with at least two years of experience working with popular PPC ad platforms (Google Ads, Bing AdCenter, etc). You will hit the ground running, know how to set up campaigns, and bring insight and expertise to the team
  • Experience with website analytics (tracking, funnel) using tools such as Google Analytics to bring insight to discussions with the marketing, product, UXR teams.
  • Able to quickly jump on opportunities, communicate effectively to the stakeholders and adjust approach in a fast-paced environment
  • Prior experience or interest in fintech, investing and personal finance industries will be advantageous when building campaigns targeted at B2C and B2B audiences. 
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Being well-organised, digitally savvy and friendly.

A day in the life of a member in the Marketing team

Likely to start the day with a stand-up with the core team to align on priorities for the week and progress. You update the group on the most recent campaign plans and performance. In the morning you will have meetings with and collaborate with members of other teams working on both B2B and B2C initiatives, to understand what is going on in both worlds, and if there is scope to create new content, activate any new campaigns or add to existing campaigns. You will then spend the rest of the morning planning and scoping opportunities for new content and campaigns, thinking about how to implement with other key business stakeholders – Legal, Capital Markets, CX, Design and Product.

After lunch you will check in on any live campaigns and look to optimise their performance. If any changes are made to ensure to document them and justify why the changes were made, for the team to understand how campaigns can be optimised for the best results.In between meetings with the Marketing team and wider business members, you spend the rest of the day writing up propositions for new campaigns and briefs for any new content.You leave to join the team for an evening cocktail at a new bar in the area, conscious you might struggle for the group HIIT class at 7:30 the next morning!

 

Interview Process

First Interview

This will be a screening interview with Makesa, Product Mgr - Customer Services and Adam Walmsley, Social Media Manager. The objective of this interview to get to know you a little, give you an opportunity to tell you more about the role and also to understand what you know about us

Second Interview

If all goes well, we will invite you for the second interview which will be with the line Manager, Alida Dubner along with a member of the product team. We will dig deeper into your experience anc perhaps get a little technical too. Again, this interview is a two way street, where you are assessing us from a business and culture perspective. Please do come prepared with lots of questions, we are more than happy to answer them.

Final interview

The final interview will be a values based interview to understand your values a bit more in detail and see how they align with the PrimaryBid values which we have built over the years. The last step of the process for you to assess if we are the right fit for you and your aspirations! This interview will take place with the Head of Commercial and the Talent Lead.

Depending on timing and urgency of the role, stages may get merged together.
