We are looking to hire a Marketing Operations Executive to be a key member of the marketing team as we continue to expand.

We are looking to hire a Marketing Operations Executive to be a key member of the Marketing team as we continue to expand.

  • Prepare and execute marketing activations for deals hosted on PrimaryBid’s platform. This will include preparation and execution of social posts, email marketing, and landing-pages alongside other members of the team.
  • Work with specialists (e.g. CRM, Paid or Digital) to execute various marketing campaigns and develop skills in these respective areas.
  • Become an expert in our marketing tools and infrastructure as we build out our tech stack, and maintain great documentation.
  • Proactively suggest process improvements to the marketing function and implement agreed solutions.

You will be successful in the role if

A day in the life of a member of Marketing Operations Executive

On the day of an IPO or public company fundraiser, you will play a key role in getting the offer live on the PrimaryBid platform, you will be a key part of the process of getting it live for individuals to invest. 

First, you will be “wall-crossed” (the process of giving people advance or inside information about a publicly traded company) by the Capital Markets Team.

Once you have been wall-crossed, you will need to do a bit of research about the company, then set up the placing on our admin portal.

You will then need to plan and set up a distribution campaign, coordinating with different teams within the company e.g. the Design team to create an asset for the placing.

Simultaneously, a presentation deck will need to be created to document the process. Once the deck has been sent around and approved. This process requires great attention to detail and clear communication between teams.

It will be your responsibility to publish and offer communication to our users (email, send push notifications, etc).

After pushing the IPO or public company fundraiser live, you will assist the team in various marketing tasks, including working with other teams such as Legal, Capital Markets, CX, Design and Product.

You leave to join the team for an evening cocktail at a new bar in the area, conscious you might struggle for the group HIIT class at 7:30 the next morning!


Interview Process

First Interview

This will be a screening interview with Makesa, Product Mgr - Customer Services and Adam Walmsley, Social Media Manager. The objective of this interview to get to know you a little, give you an opportunity to tell you more about the role and also to understand what you know about us

Second Interview

If all goes well, we will invite you for the second interview which will be with the line Manager, Alida Dubner along with a member of the product team. We will dig deeper into your experience anc perhaps get a little technical too. Again, this interview is a two way street, where you are assessing us from a business and culture perspective. Please do come prepared with lots of questions, we are more than happy to answer them.

Final interview

The final interview will be a values based interview to understand your values a bit more in detail and see how they align with the PrimaryBid values which we have built over the years. The last step of the process for you to assess if we are the right fit for you and your aspirations! This interview will take place with the Head of Commercial and the Talent Lead.

Depending on timing and urgency of the role, stages may get merged together.
