Salary: £55,000-60,000 + bonus + share options

The Role

Join Prolific as our Social Media & Content Marketer, where your passion for storytelling and expertise in content marketing will play a pivotal role in building our brand across multiple platforms. With a primary focus on branded content and a secondary emphasis on acquisition materials, you'll be the driving force behind creating content that not only resonates with our audience but also drives significant business outcomes such as user registrations, engagement, and retention.

What you’ll be doing

  • Lead the ideation and creation of impactful content marketing strategies across owned and earned channels, including social media and customer marketing.
  • Manage and grow our presence on social media and proprietary channels like YouTube, championing the development of branded content.
  • Craft compelling acquisition-focused content, such as ebooks, blog posts, and whitepapers, to attract and convert potential users.
  • Serve as our content expert and an internal strategy consultant for our Growth teams, combining journalistic thinking with editorial strategy.
  • Oversee our content calendar, ensuring seamless coordination and management of internal stakeholders.
  • Spearhead the development of new content channels and programs.

  • A master storyteller capable of crafting stories from within our business and customer base to drive key business outcomes.
  • Proactively seeks to maximize content investments by repurposing, reformatting, and reactivating existing assets.
  • Willing to experiment with new technologies to automate and enhance workflows, achieving goals more efficiently.
  • Relies on data-driven insights to inform content strategy and validate its effectiveness.

Even better if you have

  • Demonstrated SEO expertise.
  • A strong copywriting skill set, able to support or lead copywriting tasks to assist our in-house copywriting and design team.
  • Proficiency in design and video production, skilled in using tools like Canva to create visually compelling content.
  • Experience in managing online communities, particularly within the tech or academic sectors.

Our Interview Process

Talent Call: You'll meet with one of our Talent team and have an exploratory call about the role requirements, life at Prolific, as well as your background and aspirations.

Hiring Manager Interview: You'll interview with two members of the team, one of which will be the hiring manager. You'll have the opportunity to ask about the company and the role, and we'll ask you questions about your experiences and goals.
 
Panel Interview: We'll hold a panel interview that evaluates skills required for the role. You'll meet with more of our team and may be asked to complete a presentation or task. You'll be compensated with a £50 voucher 💰 for completing the task because we know your time is valuable!
 
Final Interview: We will deep dive into your past experiences, goals, motivations, and skills all aligned to our Prolific Principles. You'll speak with two to three members of the team and - as always - have an opportunity to ask questions about the role and company.
