Quantbox is a technology-driven Proprietary trading firm that specializes in systematic alpha research and electronic market-making on various exchanges. We trade across a multitude of asset classes and trading venues with significant market share and are looking for a Senior Quantitative Researcher to join us in our Cambridge office to help in building our predictive models.

As an experienced researcher you’ll have practical experience building, researching and fitting deep learning models. You might have a track record of publishing research or working on novel techniques in a more proprietary domain but in either case you’ll be developing the fitting techniques as opposed to just using them. Your work at Quantbox will involve applying deep learning techniques to complex and noisy datasets, and developing new methodologies appropriate to our problem domain. Financial markets experience is optional for this role.

Your deep learning experience is complimented by specific proficiency in the following areas:

  • C++
  • Python
  • A strong understanding of data structures and algorithms
  • Experience with Linux/Unix
  • Ability to think independently and use creative approach in problem solving
  • Strong communication skills
