We are seeking a talented and motivated Data Scientist with NLP expertise to join our dynamic team and help us transform the world of clinical trials. 

Job Summary: 

As a Data Scientist at our company, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of clinical trials by leveraging your data science skills to develop and implement novel strategies in data-driven clinical trial simulation. You will work closely with various stakeholders, such as software engineers, clinical data scientists, and researchers to analyze complex data sets, develop and validate predictive models, and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of our clinical trial simulation platform. 

Responsibilities: 

- Analyze and interpret complex clinical trial data, utilizing statistical and machine learning techniques to develop predictive models and optimize study design. 

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical data scientists, software engineering, and product development, to design and implement advanced data analytics solutions for our platform. 

- Evaluate and continuously improve the performance of existing models, using innovative techniques and methodologies. 

- Stay current with the latest developments in data science, NLP, and clinical trials research, proactively sharing knowledge and best practices with the team. 

- Participate in the development and maintenance of technical documentation, including specifications, user guides, and training materials. 

Requirements: 

- B.Sc in a relevant field, such as computer science, bioinformatics, or a related quantitative discipline. 

- Experience and or knowledge in clinical/ biomedical companies or education. 

- 3-4 years of industry experience in data science, machine learning, or NLP. 

- Strong understanding of statistical concepts and techniques, including regression analysis, hypothesis testing, and data visualization. 

- Proficient in Python, as well as experience using machine learning libraries (e.g., scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch). 

- Excellent problem-solving abilities and a strong analytical mindset. 

- A collaborative team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills. 

 

Desirable: 

- M.Sc in a clinical related or life science.  

- Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). 

- Familiarity with NLP libraries and toolkits (e.g., NLTK, Gensim, SpaCy). 

- Experience working with clinical data or knowledge of clinical trial operations and regulations. 

- Experience with PySpark for big data processing.
