Quin is looking for a Financial Controller to join our team in Amsterdam.

As our Financial Controller

Your role is crucial in maintaining the financial health of the Quin platform. Imagine yourself taking charge of the following responsibilities:

  • Financial Statements:
  • Financial Management: monitor and analyze financial performance, overseeing cash flow, revenue and cost control, and acquisition integration for strategic financial objectives.
  • Internal Controls: Developing and sustaining robust internal controls for financial integrity and efficiency.
  • Timely Closings: Ensuring accurate and punctual financial period closings.
  • Operational Efficiency: Leading OtC and PtP processes for streamlined operations.
  • Tax and VAT Compliance: Coordinating compliance and assessments for Income Tax and VAT.
  • Annual Audit Oversight: Leading the annual audit

How do you make us better? 

If you're a Financial Controller with:

  • Bachelor/Master’s degree in (Business) Economics or Accountancy.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong Proficiency in Excel and a knack for the latest accounting and reporting tools.
  • Preferably, you have knowledge of Exact Online accounting software.
  • Strong communication skills, adept in both Dutch and English.
  • Bonus points for experience in implementation, transition, and/or process improvement projects.
  • Ability to juggle and prioritize tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility in a changing start/scale-up environment
  • A positive team player with effective collaboration skills.
