Your Role
As an MLOps Engineer you will build data pipelines and data warehouse architectures on cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, and GCP. The ideal candidate should also have experience in team management and operationalising ML projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining of Data Warehousing stack on AWS
- Working with data architects and other data engineers to build data pipelines using ETL tools such as Airflow, Glue, etc.
- Developing custom data ingestion jobs using Python/Spark scripts and deploy them on serverless architectures such as AWS Lambda, etc.
- Performing data modelling and schema design activities in Data Lake and Data Warehouse environments as per the standard practices
- Collaborating closely with BI and products teams to assist with data related technical issues and support their data infrastructure needs
Your Profile
To succeed in this role you:
- Have 8+ years of experience in building data pipelines and data warehouse architectures on cloud platforms such as AWS, Microsoft Azure and GCP
- Have 5+yrs of experience in handling a team
- Have advanced SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, able to write/debug complex SQL queries
- Have experience in developing Python or Spark jobs
- Have a strong understanding of data modelling principles
- Have good communication and collaborative skill
Preferably you:
- Have built processes supporting data transformations, data structures and workload management in Database/Data Warehouse
- Have experience in implementing Redshift and AirFlow instances on AWS architectures
- Have experience in performance tuning of Redshift databases and implement recommendations
- Have experience with sourcing data using APIs from external systems
- Have experience in building data pipelines using any of CI/CD tools
- Have experience working with teams across the globe, in a fast-paced, high-tech and customer obsessed environment
