Your Role
In this role you will be responsible for all matters concerning international transportation of our amazing products – from our manufacturers to all destination markets across the globe. You will shape Razor’s international transportation strategy and lead its execution. You will work directly with the COO of the company.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing daily booking and freight consolidation operations, leading a team of 8
- Monitoring and enhancing our tech-enabled booking and tracking automations as functional owner
- Working closely with the Supplier Operations team, the Warehousing team, and the Compliance team to ensure seamless flow of goods from factory to local market
- Managing customs service providers, ocean carriers, freight forwarders as single POC
- Negotiating annual contracts with ocean carriers
Your Profile
To succeed in this role you:
- Hold at least one degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Diplom) in Logistics, Engineering, or similar field
- Have at least 5 years of experience in the field of international transportation booking/planning, and at least 2 years of experience leading teams of 3+ members
- Demonstrate excellence in setting up, managing, and developing operational processes
- Enjoy working closely with Tech to enhance existing and develop new products to accelerate and improve execution
- Thrive in international team settings while being based in Berlin or willing to relocate to Berlin
