Reform UK are recruiting for an experienced researcher to work in a tight knit team to help the wider organisation in its political mission.
The role of researcher will be integral to the team and will play a key role in achieving our party's goals.
The job involves:
Research and Analytics
Conduct thorough research on political news, trends, statistics, policy and legislative proposals.
Data Collection
Discover, gather and manage data from various sources including news outlets, government sources and international institutions. The ability to write FOI's and gather fresh, news breaking data is key to this role.
Report Writing
Work on detailed reports to ensure MPs, the leadership team and spokespeople are efficiently briefed. This will involve summarising findings, providing insights for internal and external stakeholders.
Monitoring
The ability to monitor breaking stories, elections, campaigns and public policy trends to provide timely updates for the team.
Stakeholder Analysis
Identify and evaluate key stakeholders, including interest groups, think tanks, pressure groups and community organisations.
Media Monitoring
Track real-time media coverage, identify emerging stories and news to provide updates to the press and digital team.
Fact and data checking
Verify the accuracy of media reports, speeches and other communications materials.
