Management Accountant

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Management Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in preparing financial reports, maintaining records, and analyzing data to support the company’s financial planning and decision-making processes. Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting:

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
  • Support the analysis of variances between actual results and budgets/forecasts.
  • Prepare financial reports and presentations for internal stakeholders.

• Budgeting & Forecasting:

  • Assist in the annual budgeting process by collecting and analyzing financial data.
  • Help monitor departmental budgets and forecasts, providing support to budget holders as needed.

• Cost Analysis:

  • Conduct cost analyses and help identify cost-saving opportunities.

• Data Management:

  • Maintain and update financial records, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
  • Assist in the reconciliation of accounts, including bank reconciliations, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.

• Support Month-End and Year-End Closings:

  • Contribute to the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Help prepare documentation for audits and tax filings as required.

• Process Improvement:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within the finance department and assist in implementing changes.
  • Support the development and maintenance of internal controls to ensure the integrity of financial information.

• Collaboration & Communication:

  • Work closely with the finance team members to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Communicate financial information effectively to non-finance stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Education:

  • Has gained or is actively pursuing  professional qualification (e.g, CIMA, ACCA, ACA).
