Profile Overview

As our newest Senior Full Stack Developer, you will be a passionate learner, have a bias for action and collaborate with kindness and empathy.  You will have deep experience working with Ruby on Rails and React enabling you to work confidently and fluently in both domains.

Together we are going to consistently deliver new features and functionalities to meet the ever evolving demands of our users.  Ultimately, you will play a vital role in accelerating growth and overall success at Pipeline.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Feature Development: Develop simple, high-quality solutions to our customer's problems in collaboration with your product manager, designer, and a team of engineers.
  • Ensuring High Stability: You will be working on the core of the product and keeping it stable with professional solutions and well defined plans.
  • Uncovering New Solutions: Help shape our product and technology roadmap and architecture for the months and years ahead.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • You have 5+ years working professionally with Ruby and Ruby on Rails
  • You have 2+ years working professionally with React
  • Experience working with large databases (preferably via MySQL or PostgreSQL) and have a strong understanding of the complexities involved
  • Experience with maintaining and improving production cloud infrastructure (preferably via AWS)
  • Experience with the challenges of managing background processing and optimizing queue performance
  • Very strong communication skills, in technical, as well as in customer, product and team collaboration terms
  • Fluent English
