Profile Overview

Join our passionate development and product management team at Seobility and shape the future of our innovative SEO software! We are seeking an experienced Technical Product Owner to play a key role in driving our SEO software product forward while ensuring its exceptional quality. As our new Product Owner & Test Manager, you will be a core player  in ensuring the success of our product.

Your responsibilities

  • Owning and managing the product backlog, including prioritization, refinement and strategy alignment. 
  • Collaborating closely with our development team to ensure a shared understanding of requirements, acceptance criteria, and technical feasibility
  • Taking care of software quality assurance, ideally by introducing a test case management system and test automation. 
  • Facilitating effective sprint planning, reviews, and retrospective meetings to keep our team aligned, on track, and continuously improving our processes
  • Drive the progress and continuous improvement of our product through effective backlog management, collaboration with the development team, and a focus on quality
  • Ensure the quality and alignment of changes with their initial requirements, our general product vision and our users needs through rigorous testing and detailed product reviews
  • Provide a deep understanding of upcoming developments, ticket prioritization, and the overall development process to the product management team, enabling informed decision-making
  • Serve as a go-to contact person for the development team, answering questions, facilitating smooth communication, and fostering a collaborative environment
  • Enable better planning for new features, optimize resource allocation, and ensure timely implementation to meet our product roadmap goals

What You bring to the table

  • Strong understanding of agile product management methodologies and software development life cycle processes
  • Proven track record of effective backlog management, prioritization, and refinement in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, and stakeholders
  • Core understanding of testing methodologies, practices and automation to derive acceptance criteria and ensure efficient and thorough quality assurance 
  • Analytical mindset and data-driven approach to decision making, utilizing metrics and user feedback to inform product decisions
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, adapt to changing priorities, and proactively identify and mitigate risks
  • Profound knowledge about web technologies, bonus points for technical SEO knowledge and hands-on experience with SEO tools and techniques
