About the role

We are looking for an Instructional Designer whose role it will be to design and develop new courses from conception to launch. You will be at the forefront of changes to our industry-leading sales education content and ensure courses meet SIA standards before the developed course is handed over to our team of Course Managers who oversee the courses and coach management post-launch.

Responsibilities

  • Designing and developing a portfolio of instructor-led courses from conception to launch, to be delivered live in a virtual environment 
  • Working directly with our expert coaches and subject matter experts to translate their industry knowledge and expertise into engaging and impactful learning experiences
  • Applying instructional design methods, theories, tools and best practices to the creation of all course materials, whilst leveraging creativity to develop exciting engagement opportunities and activities for our learners 
  • Maintaining course development templates, documentation and guidelines
  • Working closely with the Course Development Manager to ensure that course elements are delivered on time and to SIA standards
  • Ensuring consistency of branding, tone of voice, and content across the full range of SIA courses
  • Supporting Course Managers with updates to courses to implement feedback from our learners and other stakeholders as needed

A bit about you

  • You have 3-5 years’ experience in a fast-paced environment
  • You have demonstrable instructional/learning design (or similar) experience, with knowledge of instructional design methods, theories, tools and best practices
  • You enjoy creating exciting and engaging learning experiences
  • You are a confident script writer and have strong visual design skills
  • You have an impeccable eye for detail, particularly with regard to grammatical and analytical accuracy
  • You enjoy creative problem-solving
  • You are highly skilled in managing several projects with different timelines and you love staying organized
  • You are a good multi-tasker who is adept at using various online tools and software simultaneously
  • You work well across varied teams and you’re confident building relationships with senior stakeholders and subject matter experts
