THE MISSION

We are looking for a talented and experienced Chief Marketing Officer who is going to be accountable for leading a successful marketing team across Italy, France, Spain and Portugal. 

You will have the opportunity to shape Scalapay’s growth strategy, lead marketing communications and operations to ensure the distribution of brand messages across channels, and leverage your data-crunching abilities to ensure the alignment of product and services with demand, cultivating meaningful connections among our customers.

We have great goals to accomplish in the next few years, both for B2C and B2B - we are looking for someone that is ready to get in the trenches with us!

B2C responsibilities: 

  • Continue to build Scalapay’s brand awareness and reputation to make it the most popular payment method across Southern Europe
  • Responsible for increasing monthly active users and retention
  • Responsible for awareness of new products and features

B2B responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for inbound merchant acquisition
  • Responsible for executing marketing campaigns to nurture merchants in the sales pipeline

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

Must have:

  • Experience in  B2C and B2B marketing
  • 5 Years of marketing experience at a C-Level
  • Managing and training a team of at least 10 people
  • Understanding of the customer better than anyone in your organisation
  • Great communication abilities
  • Ability to manage +10m budgets
  • Responsible for customer retention
  • You have evolved in a multicultural environment, you’re fluent in English

Nice to Have:

  • You have already worked in the payment industry 
  • You are fluent in Italian, French or Spanish
