We are looking for a System Engineer of the Middle level or higher to our DevOps/SRE team. Here you will deal with the tasks of infrastructure and internal services (monitoring, logging, storing secrets, etc.). We are not engaged in CI/CD, for this we have the DevExp team
Now we are in the phase of abandoning Bare Metal hosts in favor of the cloud. Also, we are already operating internal services inside Kubernetes and we need more expertise with it.
Our main goal is to create a convenient and reliable infrastructure for our game.
Tasks to be solved:
- Ensuring operability and creating a new infrastructure.
- Development of monitoring systems.
- To help with the rejection of iron hosts.
- Learn how to raise dynamic environments for development.
- Implement testing for our configurations and IaC.
- Administer DB clusters (PostgresSQL), including using Kubernetes operators.
You're right for us if you:
- Have worked with cloud providers and IaC tools.
- Know Kubernetes at the advanced user level.
- Used Configuration management utilities a lot.
- Know how to create and maintain database clusters.
- Have a rich experience in Linux administration.
- Know how to find network problems both on the localhost and in the networks of cloud providers.
It will be a plus:
- The ability to write code, especially on Golang.
- Experience working with Kubernetes operators and wrote my own.
- Experience in creating a self-healing PostgreSQL cluster.
