ShipMonk is currently seeking a Sr. People and Culture Business Partner to partner with our corporate teams (Revenue, Marketing, IT, Finance). This role is perfect for a strategic thinker who isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves and leans into the challenges of building high-performing teams and fostering a culture where people thrive. You'll be partnering daily with senior corporate leaders to drive people programs that align with our business goals. You will be a trusted advisor, providing guidance on areas including talent management, leadership development, and organizational design.
What you'll do:
- Deeply understand business priorities and challenges in order to identify and create an aligned people plan
- Act as a trusted advisor to leaders and team members
- Drive initiatives to support a high-performance and high-engagement culture
- Lead efforts to optimize team structures, processes, and capabilities in support of business goals
- Partner with leaders on change management as the organization continues to grow, ensuring that we stay connected with core values and culture
- Leverage people analytics to guide smart and informed decision making
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in order to enable the success of your business units
- Take ownership over employee relations actions
What you'll need:
- Bachelors Degree plus 5+ years of experience in HR business partnering
- Strong background in several of the following: organizational design, talent management, leadership coaching, designing performance management, change management, people analytics, total rewards
- Strong bias for personal growth and learning, and then influencing greatness for those around you
- A collaborative problem solver. You embrace problems as shared opportunities to improve
- A great relationship builder. You love getting to know people and are thoughtful about how to effectively partner with each individual
- An optimistic and forward-thinking mentality. Rather than thinking about what is not yet in place, you focus on a future vision of hope and clarity
- Proven experience providing coaching to senior leaders (Directors+) and driving strategic initiatives
- Ability to travel across our network
