We are seeking an experienced Recruiter with a strong background in non-exempt talent acquisition. As a Recruiter, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and selecting top-quality candidates for a variety of warehouse positions within our organization. This role requires exceptional communication skills, a keen eye for talent, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. This is a contract position that will sit onsite at our Louisville, KY location.

What you'll do:

  • Collaborate with hiring managers to understand their talent needs and develop comprehensive recruitment strategies.
  • Utilize various sourcing channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and direct sourcing, to attract a diverse pool of candidates.
  • Review resumes, conduct phone screens, and perform in-depth interviews to assess candidates' qualifications and fit for specific roles.
  • Provide timely and constructive feedback to candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Manage the applicant tracking system (ATS) to maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records.
  • Coordinate and schedule interviews, both in-person and virtual, with candidates and hiring teams.
  • Collaborate with HR and hiring managers to negotiate and extend job offers.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in recruiting to enhance the talent acquisition process.
  • Assist with the development and implementation of recruitment marketing strategies to attract top talent.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable employment laws and regulations.

What you'll need:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in recruiting, with a focus on non-exempt roles.
  • Proven track record of successfully sourcing and placing candidates in a variety of positions.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment strategies, including sourcing techniques and candidate assessment methods.
  • Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and other HR software tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to build rapport and establish effective working relationships with hiring managers and candidates.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and make sound judgments in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential information.
