ShipMonk is seeking an experienced Product Manager – Billing to take ownership of our billing portal and ensure accurate, transparent, and customer-focused billing operations. This role is onsite in Prague, Czechia and critical to maintaining trust with our customers while driving operational efficiency. Candidates with a strong product management background in billing systems, accounting, audits, and pricing are encouraged to apply.
Your main responsibilities:
- Billing PDLC ownership: Own product development lifecycle for our billing products from ideation, alignment of stakeholders, prioritization, and work with engineering teams to support the development and deployment of new products.
- Go to Market: Drive product implementation and adoption in collaboration with Go to Market team
- Customer-Focus: Act as an expert in customer needs, using insights and interviews with customers to identify new opportunities for product development.
- Billing Accuracy: Lead efforts to ensure all billing processes are precise, consistent, and transparent, fostering trust with our customers.
- Portal Ownership: Take full responsibility for the functionality and user experience of the billing portal, continuously identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Pricing Expertise: Collaborate with stakeholders to implement and refine pricing structures that meet customer needs and business objectives.
- Compliance: Lead efforts to ensure good billing practices adhere to accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- Data-Driven Decisions: Use analytics to identify discrepancies, optimize processes, and enhance the billing experience for customers.
- Team Collaboration & Communication: Act as a key liaison between the pricing team, customer support, development teams, and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and clear communication throughout the product lifecycle.
- Execution: Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment, and demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines.
