Your Role

  • Build, lead and develop a team of analysts in Banking Operations and AML/KYC
  • Work with the global teams in Berlin to establish scalable hiring strategies and processes for Ops/AFC roles in Chennai
  • Work with the Ops/AFC teams in Berlin to set up onboarding and training plans for bringing the teams up to speed on Solarisbank processes
  • Assess and manage team workload and capacity
  • Develop a framework to move, maintain and improve processes that are outsourced to Chennai (identification of applicable processes, proper documentation of processes, tool setup, training, beta go-live, go-live, live monitoring & controlling,etc.)
  • Be the local line manager and SPOC for Ops/AFC heads and teams in Berlin
  • Drive and support improvement of processes, workflows, and reportings

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in Banking, Compliance and AML/KYC topics within financial services
  • Experienced in building/managing teams of up to 15 FTE
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Banking process and regulations related to AML/KYC
  • Ability to be highly flexible and react swiftly to changing priorities and urgent situations
  • You display strong time management skills, problem solving, decision-making and communication skills
  • You have excellent attention to detail with the ability to see the full picture
  • You are fully comfortable using MS Office and Google Workspace
  • Professional working proficiency in English
