We are looking for a Cloud Engineer to play a pivotal role in developing and maintaining our cloud-based infrastructure for our SaaS product.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in cloud computing, a strong foundation in software development, and the ability to design and implement scalable and secure cloud solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and manage a highly available and scalable cloud infrastructure to support our SaaS product, ensuring best practices in security and efficiency.
- Participate in the implementation of innovative cloud services and solutions, including serverless architectures, containerization, and orchestration technologies.
- Collaborate with development teams to facilitate continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) processes, enhancing deployment strategies and automation.
- Collaborate with team members, strategic stakeholders and foster a culture of continuous learning in your Role
- Research and integrate emerging cloud technologies and tools, contributing to the continuous improvement of our cloud environment and practices.
Qualifications:
- Strong background in cloud computing platforms, preferably AWS
- Proficiency in infrastructure as code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation) and programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Experience with containerisation and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong interdisciplinary skills and stakeholder management abilities.
