The Role:

To support the execution of Stenn’s introducer strategy while creating, developing and managing a panel of introducers. You will be tasked to scale this channel’s lead flow in an efficient way by driving profitable deals backed by a high channel conversion rate. With your use of strong sales techniques you will deliver significant growth across the regional introducer landscape in the UK across the corporate finance sector. To be successful, you will need to be comfortable in a rapidly growing and evolving company.  You will need to have the ability to work independently to establish and maintain a strong network of introducers.  Building relationships and keeping Stenn front of mind is crucial to success, but equally ensuring that the introducers are clear of Stenn’s current and evolving capabilities will ensure a higher conversion rate.  Having an understanding of the market and product is crucial to position Stenn accordingly.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and grow key relationships with introducers by educating on best practices and challenging introducers to drive profitable business to Stenn.
  • You will performance manage introducers to achieve revenue, volume and deal conversion targets while delivering best customer experience.
  • Negotiate and sign commercial agreements that are mutually beneficial and that will incentivise the right behavior and performance.
  • Create and execute operational strategy for developing and growing the introducer portfolio.
  • Challenge the thinking of introducers as to how they add value to clients by developing and maintaining a deep knowledge of how advisory businesses operate in the trade finance market.
  • Be at the leading edge of understanding the introducer market and industry developments.
  • Regularly attend industry events to continue building the relationships and network while also promoting the Stenn brand and increasing our exposure in the market. 
  • Closely collaborate with the Marketing team to deliver regular updates on market insights and our latest deals to stay top of mind with introducers, focusing on value add for their business.
  • Operate a robust sales process and demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the sales model to effectively manage existing relationships and deliver new business growth.
  • Play a pivotal role in defining the ideal introducer profile while also thinking outside of the box by focusing on a wider audience than just the broker space.

Your skills and experience:

  • Excellent understanding of the introducer marketplace, trade finance competitors, as well as introducer business models, technology and processes.
  • You currently have a developed book of introducers that will allow you to have a quick start at Stenn while looking to further develop and grow your portfolio.
  • Strong track record of overperforming revenue targets in your previous role while collaborating closely with the rest of the Revenue team to make it happen.
  • Ability to deliver a consultative sales process with introducers and be able to consult with them about their current and future business needs.
  • Adapts communication style to the individual needs of introducers.
  • Able to network and successfully build relationships via remote media and face-to-face contact and be able to demonstrate consultative engagement.
  • Have effective personal and business organizational and planning skills with a proven ability to think creatively and to innovate, with outside the box thinking to open up new areas of opportunities.
  • Be self-motivated, goal orientated and resilient in a highly pressured environment.
  • You will need to have a strong understanding of SME and Enterprise segment as well as the competitor landscape in the Trade Finance space.
