Stenn are looking for a IT Administrator. Could this be you?

 

You probably want to know what’s involved?

 

As an IT Administrator, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless technology operations. With 2-4 years of experience, you'll bring experience in areas ranging from operating systems and networking to security and software support. Your responsibilities will encompass system maintenance, network maintenance, security protocols, and providing world-class technical support. Your organisational skills, combined with a proactive approach to disaster recovery and security, will be instrumental in safeguarding our IT landscape. If you're a tech-savvy problem solver with an enthusiasm for customer support, we'd love to have you on board.

 

We would be looking for you to:

  • Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, and software
  • Maintain network infrastructure for seamless connectivity on site.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot IT systems to ensure optimal performance
  • Managing user identity and access management systems
  • Managing virtual machine environments such as VMware
  • Provide technical support to users at all levels of the organisation and resolve IT issues
  • Maintain user accounts, permissions, and access rights.
  • Maintain documentation of IT systems and procedures.
  • Help in deployment of security patches and updates.
  • Log, categorise, and prioritise support requests using a ticketing system.

 

How do you know if you are the right candidate?

 

The ideal candidate will have 2-4 years of experience in a similar role, with technical skills in a variety of areas, including:

  • Operating systems (Windows, Linux, macOS)
  • Basic networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching)
  • System administration (Active Directory, VMware, Remote Desktop Connections, Azure)
  • Software support (Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Slack, other popular applications)
  • Experience in mobile device management (MDM) tools like Jamf and Intune is a plus
